Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Registered Certified Tomatis Consultant (RCTC)

Certified Mediator

"Play is an inherent part of each human. We play each moment we breathe, whether we are driving children to school, spending time with a spouse, nursing an ill relative, or taking a vacation. Play is a deep part of love and allows us to find joy in our lives."

– Len Young

Len Young has spent most of her life listening and taking action. Her career spans national marketing, international non-profit management, government projects, a new product national launch, and creating and running her own company since 2003.

Len has worked as a trained Tomatis® Consultant  since 1996 and is a founding member of the Association of International Registered Certified Tomatis Consultants in 2001(www.TomatisAssociation.org). During her early Tomatis days, she worked with colleagues to expand the Tomatis Method throughout the US. Forming Listening Clarity, Inc. in 2003, Len has worked on the cutting edge with Tomatis Developpement S. A. (Christian Tomatis and Thierry Gaujarengues) offering the Tomatis Method through the first portable Mini-Electronic Ear and then leading the US launch of Solisten®, the 2009 portable digital touch screen device, through training programs and nationwide workshops. Len’s business is national, focusing in the West and Southeast with individuals, groups, schools and research. She is currently Chair of the IARCTC International Research Committee.

Working with many families, students, adults and groups, Len has mediated difficult situations in education, between spouses, and among groups, resulting in solutions and positive forward-moving actions. Her personal experience with older family members provides experience to further guide families in choosing the best choices for their parents and elderly relatives. Through non-profit community work, Len has lead groups through strategic planning, long-term financial decisions, and organization of new and emerging projects.

Her extensive experience provides foundation for Len’s consulting on a variety of subjects from school choices for a child or young adult to couples’ reunions and group collaborations. Building upon her doctoral work focusing on play and its vital and inherent role in living fully, Len also developed several experiential processes that use her fresh image of playfulness to encourage imagination, creativity, and a sense of purposeful direction.

Len holds a doctorate in Mythological Studies with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in California and a Masters in Business Administration from the Crummer School of Business Administration at Rollins College in Florida. She has also studied in Paris and is fluent in French.

Len’s publications include magazines, newsletters, and a chapter in the first of the IARCTC’s book series: The Listening Journey for Children, 2011.  Len has organized and presented at national and international conferences and meetings.

Len’s sense of exploration and her life choices reflect her commitment to the whole person and the truth that each individual and his or her story are vital to the function of our culture. She is a trained facilitator for the Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium from The Pachamama Alliance that is committed to bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling and socially just human presence on this planet as the guiding principle of our time.
